Connecting to the host
| Parts |
| Connectors on the host machines varies according
to their type and model. The following are the most common connectors. |

Female BNC connector |
| Seen on most DVR and DVR cards. Used for video
signal (Security camera, Television) and audio signal connection
(Microphone). |

Female RCA connector |
| Several DVR card models use RCA connector
for video signal connection. |

3.5mm connector |
| Found on most PC sound cards or onboard sound
cards. For audio signal connection. |
| Converters |
| The AV wires coming from Security cameras
and microphones has Male RCA connectors. They can be plugged into
the host via different types of converters. |
